See snippets of her day (looks like any normal day)

The audience can hear the girls parents in the background - yelling, banging? It's muffled 

She does not react to this

House is pristine but when we see her go into her parents room to get something, it's very different (messy, cluttered, alcohol, cigarettes)

• establishing shot of house/room

• wakes up - alarm? - birds eye view

• shot of phone/ message or something - replies "yeah it's nothing"

• "Bang" - she looks towards room 

• makes way downstairs

• breakfast scene

• hear parents leave and goes upstairs to get something/ clean up parents room etc

• fade out to white as she leaves (face on)

Looking more at the psychological and emotional abuse rather than physical

• Shot of the door, slow zoom

• Shot of 'mother' tapping fingers

• shot of clock, ticking

• no music only ticking and tapping

• silhouette of ash through glass door

• Tries to close door as quietly as possible

• Tapping stops as door shuts

• sneaks upstairs, mum texts 'where have you been?'

• Schedule printed out on bed with everything for week, mainly chores - weigh yourself?

• pulls out journal from under bed

• chart, highlights weight

• text from mother 'get down here now'
